Keith was a sports advocate who enjoyed partaking in outdoor activities. He spent most of his time fishing, hunting, and enjoying animals and nature. He retired from Bellsouth after 32 years where everyone knew him as the "Phone-Man." Keith never met a stranger and will be greatly missed for the numerous jokes he told.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Fred William Boothe, Sr., and Billie Lorene Boothe.
He is survived by his loving children, Kristie B. Zimmerman (Erik) and Kyle W. Boothe (Marcie); grandchildren, Koleigh Zimmerman (Jacob), Evin Zimmerman, Gauge Boothe, Brody Boothe, Mason Boothe, and Kaleb Boothe; great-grandchildren, Michael and Wrenleigh Mapes; siblings, Fred Boothe, Jr.,(Squitter), Kathy Vining, Kay Williamson, and Mike Boothe; and one special friend, Connie Atkinson.
A visitation for Keith will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042 followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM. His final resting place will be at Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, in Eoline, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Gauge Boothe, Brody Boothe, Evin Zimmerman, J.W. Kornegay, Jason Kornegay, Terry Ware, Adam Steele, and Kenneth Colburn.
Honorary pallbearers are Jack Mathis, Joe Bailey, Jimmy Watkins, Kornegay Family, Bellsouth Family, Pea Patch Family, Duval Watkins, Wilson Coleman, Dennis Hallman, Shane Darden, Ray Steele, Mike Jones and Eoline Community.
