Ducky was preceded in death by his sister, Roxanne Jones; his brother, Kenny Gardner; his mother, Betty Holifield Foster; his father, Marvin Holifield; and his stepfather, Irby Foster. He is survived by his son, Derek Gardner (Autumn); his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Natalie Nichols; brother-in-law, Roland Jones; sister-in-law, Suzette Hood; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Randy Cicero; best friend, Barry Newman; and his best dog, Fuzz.
A celebration of life for Ducky will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042. The family requests you come dressed in casual attire.
