Jerry was born to Glen and Beatrice Robinson on December 28th, 1946, in Chehalis, Washington. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1964. Two years later Jerry married the love of his life, Geny Robinson, on July 27th. They had four children together: Raelene, Jody, Glen, Cyrus, and Sam joined the family later on. Jerry had a diverse work life over the years as a KGME radio announcer from 1966-1969, an advertising specialist for Yard Birds shopping center from 1969-1995, a heavy equipment operator for W.F. Anderson, and a dump truck driver for Quality Rock.
He was an accomplished musician, playing drums and singing in several country swing bands. Jerry also loved being outside, working with his hands. You would often find him chopping wood, taking care of his farm, volunteering with Centralia Fire Department, haying the hay field, taking his family Jeep racing, or giving his grandkids rides on his prized Kubota tractor. Jerry was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved to give his time to help others.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father Glen Robinson, his mother Beatrice DeLair Robinson, and his brother Raymond Robinson.
Jerry is survived by his wife Geny Robinson; his daughters Raelene Mathias (Jerry) and Jody Johnson (Josh); his sons Glen Robinson (Lisa), Cyrus Robinson (Kristi), and Samuel Andrews; his 16 grandchildren; and his 15 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Cyrus, Kristi, and Lily for taking care of Jerry which enabled him to stay in his home for his final days. There was a celebration of life for Jerry at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Wednesday May 17th 2023.
