Israel Miranda Espinosa, age 41, of Rochester, Washington passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Israel was born October 18, 1979 in Mexico City, Mexico to Demetrio Miranda and Maria Esperanza Espionza. He grew up in Elma and was an honor student in school. Looked up to by his brother and sisters Israel was a wonderful role model. He graduated from Elma High School in 1999, set off to college to earn a bachelor's degree, and worked as a laborer before becoming an electrician.
Fixing and riding his quads was one of Israel's favorite things to do along with working on his truck. Everyone agrees that Israel was one of the kindest and most supportive people you could have on your side. He always wanted to help anyway he could and often put the needs of others before himself. You could always see him with a smile on his face and he never missed an opportunity to join in family gatherings and festivities. He was never angry, was always willing to sit and listen to you without judgement, and was always full of compassion. Israel was also a Seahawks fan and took his sister to a couple of Mariners games as well. Sushi was one of his favorite foods but also appreciated that whenever he had a craving, his mother was happy to go in the kitchen and prepare it for him. Nephews and neices were always so excited when their uncle came to visit and would run to receive hugs from him. Israel was truly one of a kind.
Israel is survived by his parents, Demetrio Miranda and Maria Esperanza Miranda Espionza; his brother, Noe Miranda, sisters, Raquel Torres-Miranda and Maria Monse Miranda; nieces, Karla Torres-Miranda, Noelia Miranda, Sophia Miranda, and Kamila Miranda; nephews, Gabriel and Daniel Torres-Miranda, Alex Miranda and Julian Miranda.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.
