Kenneth Downey

Kenneth Andrew Downey, born on May 10, 1953, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, left this world on November 18, 2023. He is now reunited with his father, Eldridge A. Downey and mother Effie L. Downey in eternal peace.

Kenneth is survived by his sisters Linda Reed (husband Dave), Pamela Clattenburg (husband David), brother Thomas Downey (wife Deborah), one niece, and two nephews. He is also remembered by his son Kyle Downey, daughter Katelyn Downey (husband Jason Heil), granddaughter Chloe Heil, and his beloved pet, Willow.

As a dedicated Project Manager with Spinks Construction, Kenneth's professionalism and commitment left a lasting impact. Beyond his work, he was known as an avid fisherman and huntsman, embodying the spirit of a true Louisiana sportsman.

A memorial service to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held at Central Funeral Home from 12pm-4pm on December 2, 2023, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember the man who brought warmth and joy to their lives. May he rest in peace.
