George Babin journeyed to his heavenly home on Monday, February 6, 2023 hearing the words welcome home my good and faithful servant. He married the love of his life Marie Babin in 1960 and started a wonderful family. George served in the United States Army and later retired from Deltech Chemical plant after 45 years of employment.
He was one of the hardest working men who loved his family and Jesus more than anything.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Sadie Babin Giroir and son, Roland Babin.
George is survived by his wife of 63 years Marie A. Babin; two sisters, Paula Manning (John), Lois Mix; daughter, Rhonda Matherne; grandchildren, Austin Matherne, Heather Babin, and Jessica Abshire, and his great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM all at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Rd. Burial will be held at a later date.
