Lillian Miezejeski Pandiani, age 96, of Deep River passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Aaron Manor Health and Rehabilitation in Chester with family at her side. Lillian was the beloved wife of John Pandiani who predeceased her in 1966. Lillian was born in Staten Island, New York on January 26, 1922 the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Ryzner) Miezejeski. The family moved to Deep River when Lillian was 3 years old. She was a graduate of Deep River High School in 1940 and she and John were married in 1943 at St. Joseph’s Church in Chester. Lillian was a communicant at St. Joseph’s Church for many years. She will be remembered for her love of family and home. She took great pride in whatever she did. She is survived by her children, John Pandiani (Jill Mackler) of Bristol, VT, Annie Tomlinson (Michael) of Deep River, Mary Kisselbrack (Jonathan) of Chester, her beloved nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Mary Rayner of Deep River and Genevieve Shumbo of Moodus. Lillian was predeceased by her sister, Genevieve Laskowski, and her brothers, Charles, Thomas, Paul, John, Peter, Edward, Vincent, Joseph, and Stanley Miezejeski. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Tuesday, May 29th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 30th at 10:30AM at Saint Joseph’s Church, 48 Middlesex Avenue in Chester. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
