Bob passed away peacefully at home after months of nursing care and Denver Hospice care.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Parks, sons, John Parks and David Parks, daughters-in-law,
Marleah and Aimee, and granddaughter, Josie. Other relatives include nephew, Brian Burne and niece,
Laurie Richards and their families.
Bob grew up in South Denver and attended DPS schools. He graduated from South High School.
He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music.
He taught music in the Denver Public Schools and directed many musicals at North High School and DPS
Summer Theater. He retired from teaching in 1993.
Robert served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in New Jersey in a Radar Unit.
Bob also served as director of music at South Presbyterian Church and St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
Robert and Patricia were married for 45 years.
