Richard Harry Tinsley passed away at age 85 on May 28th, 2021. He was born on July 29th, 1935 in Salida, Colorado to Harry and Ruth Tinsley. He was drafted into the Navy and spent two years serving his country on USS WASP. Upon his return, he began his career as a Federal Probation Officer for the U.S. Courts. Rich spent his life across the Western Slope and throughout Denver. He was a prideful Coloradan, and a lifelong fan of all Colorado sports teams. In his earlier years, he was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. As he entered retirement, he spent most of his time on the two games he enjoyed most- Golf and Bridge. When he wasn’t playing either of those games, he was likely traveling the world with his wife of 61 years, Bobbie. Rich is survived by his wife Bobbie Tinsley, their three children: Julie (Sam), Kari (Kyle), and Rich (Jenny), and his grandchildren: Zack (27), Alex (27), Autumn (23), Caroline (23), and TJ (14).
