Patty was born on November 21, 1974 in Denver, CO to father Lyle Dennis Heater and mother Janet Marilyn Heater (Slack).
She married her husband, Sean Dugger, on December 31, 2019 and lived with him in Littleton.
Patty worked as IT support for Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), but outside of that she enjoyed activities such as bowling, paddle boarding, watching the Denver Broncos, and she had even authored two published books.
Patty was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sibling, and friend. She is remembered for her sarcastic, funny, humble, and purposeful personality; as well as how she fiercely protected and assisted her loved ones. She is remembered as being vibrant, joyful, and loved.
Her kids, grandkids, husband, and puppies were her world and she would do anything for them. She was selfless. Exemplifying this is that even in her death she was able to help five people live as an organ donor with her heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver going to recipients in Texas, Florida, Minnesota, and Arizona.
Patty is survived by her husband Sean Dugger; her children Mercedes Hall, Megan Smith, Malea Beyer, Rhyan Beyer, Jadeyn Dugger, and Owen Dugger; her two Great Dane puppies Axl and Django; her grandchildren Emerson Hall, Addisyn Scholtz, Soren Hall, and Liam Smith; her siblings Teri Sidebottom and Gary Heater; and her parents Lyle and Janet.
A private celebration of life for Patty will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary.
Donations can be made in Patty's name to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
