Formally of Brule NE- Lynn L Swartz, 82, of Laramie WY. Passed away peacefully Sunday June 5, 2022, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley CO. A visitation will be held July 2, 2022, at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary from 8:30 am to 9:00 am at 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121 with a celebration of her life at 10:00 am at Olinger Mount Lindo Cemetery at 5928 S Turkey Creek Rd, Morrison, CO 80465.
We will also be holding a celebration of Life at the Assembly of God Church in Big Springs NE, on July 9th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Lynn was born March 15, 1940, in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Jack & May Ruth (Pendray) Magoon.
Lynn grew up in Lusk Wyoming on a farm and after High School she attended Business College, she went to work with the Finance Department at Lowry Airforce Base. She was a Co-Truck Driver with her husband Leon Swartz. Leon & Lynn moved to Lake McConaughy in Brule NE where she lived for 35 years and became a Manager at Grandma Max’s Restaurant. She loved going to all the sporting events her Son Jeff played in High School and you could hear her cheering him on into the next State. Lynn looked forward to spending the summers with her Son, Daughter-in-Law and Grandchildren down at the lake or spending time in Colorado. She enjoyed the interaction of her part-time work as a waitress/bartender into her retirement. She moved to windy Wyoming a couple of years ago. Why you ask? “We still don’t know.” She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.
Lynn is survived by her Son Jeffrey & Allisa (Steward) Swartz of Big Springs NE. She has three grandchildren Jessa Swartz of Denver CO, Brodie Swartz of Colorado Springs CO, and Racquel Swartz of Big Springs NE. Her Son Richard West of Colorado.
Lynn was proceeded in death by her Parents Jack and May Ruth Magoon, Husband Leon Swartz, Sister Jeanette Wilburn, Brother Bruce Magoon, Brother Terry Magoon
