Lonee Marie Gapp

Lonee was born September 12, 1956 in Valley City, ND to Francis and Velma (Barnett) Gapp. Lonee graduated from Rolla High School in 1974. She furthered her education by receiving two bachelor of science degrees. One in Child Development from North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND and the second in Legal Assistance from Minnesota State University, Moorehead, MN.

For most of her career, she worked as a Sales Account Manager/Director at several companies including Health Safety Institute, Ridgeview Tel, and American Time before retiring to focus on her love of horses, specifically Desty a rescue horse she was caring for.

As a young child she would bring home stray animals that were then adopted into the family. Including purchasing as a teenager her first horse, Prince, a white Arabian.

Lonee was preceded in death by her father Francis Gapp and son Ryan Parisien. She is survived by her mother Velma Gapp of Rolla, ND; brothers: Greg (Tracy) Gapp of Hopkinsville, KY; Brad (Nancy) Gapp of Buffalo, MN and Rod (Holly) Gapp of Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Taylor & Gabriel Brooks, and Gunner Parisien; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Committal Service will be held on, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery in Centennial, CO.
