Helen was born on Oct. 28, 1917 in Steamboat Springs, CO to John and Anna Chura, the youngest of ten children. After losing her mother at a very early age she lived in Steamboat, Loveland and Denver with different siblings. On March 18, 1943 she married James R. (Bob) Kennedy in Reno, NV. After Bob's discharge from the Army they lived in Lakewood, CO. In 1956 they moved to Littleton, CO. At the time of her death she resided at Clermont Park Nursing Home. She is survived by three daughters: Jean (Jerry) Rouse, Barbara (David) Coons and Pat (Roger) Long; six grandchildren: Juli Rouse (Todd), Cody Rouse (Sherri), Becky Kane, Danelle Pappenheim, Kim Nickels and Brandon Coons; seven great grandchildren: Clay and Cole Rouse, Rachel Kane, Kaytee Pappenheim, Kalyn Klee, Taylor Coons and Bradee McMann. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings. The funeral will be Thursday, March 24 at 4:30 p.m. at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Littleton, CO with viewing an hour prior.
