Erma Jesse Hinkle, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away on January 13, 2018. Erma was born July 15, 1930. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie (Ward) and Walter Elliott; sister, Ruth Knobloch; grandson, Jason Powell; step-son, Bill "Fritz" Hinkle; daughter-in-law, Sherry Powell; and her first husband and father of her three children, James O. Powell. Erma is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bill E. Hinkle; sons, Jim (Veronica) Powell and Randy (Karen) Powell; daughter, Sharla (Rodger) Howard; grandchildren, Jody VanderHamm, Bret Powell, Kristy (Rob) Plenter, Donald Howard, Melissa Galan, Chandra (Trevor) Albright; 11 great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 am, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. A Funeral Service will be held beginning at 10:00 am, Friday, January 19, 2018 followed by a Committal Service in the cemetery at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life Reception will begin back at the funeral home following the Committal.
