The book of life. I was privileged to have been a part of the first few chapters of this beautiful ladies life in Greenwood Village, in school, in 4 H and Little Britches. She and her  family always gracious, warm and loving. We exchanged a couple of letters mid way through the book and now the book has closed. God has brought a precious angel home to him.

I was hoping to reconnect with Dianne after all these years and started with Facebook,which led me here. I knew Dianne from our years in grade school until my family moved to Fort Collins sophomore year.  We were all horse crazy and those years of free-range friendship were wonderful. I treasure them. I remember several people who have already written notes here and the mention of Mrs. Fredericksen made me cry anew. She encouraged me to write, and encouraged other students to pursue their talents. We were all lucky to have the growing up years that Littleton provided--the hay-rides and the sleepovers. Goodnight, Dianne.

Bonnie was one of my freshman roommates at Loretto Heights College.  I always enjoyed visiting her family and they were so close and enjoyed the outdoors & each other.  I wish I had known Dianne better, as I know she was a lovely lady.  I am praying for your family to be comforted by God at this sad time of Dianne;s loss, so soon after her Mother's death.  That beautiful horse Buddy is surely a happy companion for you in Heaven.

I'm repeating this. I knew Dianne as a child who was in one of my drama classes for a brief time.  She was attentive and very bright but weas reticent to expr4ess herself creatively.  I haven't known Dianne as an adult but wish I had been able to spend more time with her.  She will be missed by all.

I didn't know Dianne but her sister Bonnie is a good friend of mine.  We will keep Dianne and her family and friends in our prayers.  Please accept our condolences.

My memory of the free-spirited Dianne. 

As a youngster, I would hear the hoof strikes of a  galloping horse on the Highline Canal road.  I couldn't see the horse and rider, but I knew it was Dianne on Midnight, flying by at a full run, with Major (the German Shepard) trying to keep up.

Although I did not know Diane, her sister Bonnie is a very dear friend of mine.  My condolences go out to Diane's family and friends.

My fondest memories are from the 4th grade when Dianne, Candy Frame, Charlene Stiffler and I played "horse" on the playground at Curtis Elementary School.  We took turns tying a rope around one person's waist (the "horse") and "riding" that horse as we galloped through the fields.  So much fun!  We all loved horses and Dianne actually had one!

Mrs. Fredericksen would use a brass hand bell to call us in from recess.  The school was an old one which now has been turned into a museum, but we LOVED our time there.

My other fond memories were of all of us going to a Bears baseball game in the summer.  That was a huge adventure!

The last time I saw Dianne was (I think) in 1988 at our 20th Littleton High School reunion.  But those happy memories of the 4th grade will stay with me until I get my "wings".

Wherever you are now, Dianne, I hope you have horses nearby.  You loved them so much!

We always will remember you.

My dear sweet sister,  I love you and miss you more than I can ever say.  I will never believe that you are not here....it all happened too fast, but I try to tell myself that I hope you are happy and peacefull and riding your horse, Buddy,  thru that beautiful mountain pasture in the sky.  I love you, sis.
