Charles, aka, Chuck, passed away at Mapleton Care Center in Lakewood, Sunday, May 5, 2019. He was 85 years old. Chuck was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on May 15, 1933 to Florian and Lucille Landry. He was the 6th of 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls, two of whom were twins, all who have preceded him in death. Chuck had 2 sons by his first wife. The eldest Norman Peter, died of a heart attack in 1979. He was 16. His son, Michael Thomas, is living in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Chuck served the United States in the military for 23 years. He really loved the service, especially because he had the opportunity to travel. Chuck then served the U.S. with the Post Office for 20 years. He was given a service award for his 43 years of collective service to the U.S. Government.
He is survived by his wife, Charmaine. They were married 1 day shy of 35 years. Chuck is also survived by several nieces and nephews living in Colorado, California, Kansas, Louisiana and Singapore; as well as, many great nieces and nephews, 3 sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
Chuck will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
