Carolyn Marie Kaiser passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on April 12th, 2021. She was born on April 6th, 1953 in Santa Fe Springs, California to Ignacio “Nash” and Teresa “Terry” Rodriguez (Moreno).
After graduating from Santa Fe Springs High School, Carolyn moved to Durango, Colorado to be near the mountains and beautiful scenery she so loved. She relocated to Denver in the 1980’s where she cared for rescue animals at the Denver Dumb Friends League. Shortly after, she worked as a receptionist for a landscaping company where she met Perry Kaiser.
Carolyn and Perry were married on January 21, 1984. Carolyn had a successful career as a receptionist, bookkeeper, office manager, homemaker and mother.
Carolyn was very creative and found ways to showcase her artistic talent throughout her life. One of the proudest moments of her adolescence was performing a dance routine on stage at the Hollywood Bowl. As a teenager, she developed a love for the canvas and even painted murals for local businesses. As a mother, she spent many hours making dresses and costumes for her daughters, local theaters and friends.
Carolyn loved music and comedy and perfecting recipes in the kitchen. She was a skilled cook and enjoyed making traditional Mexican cuisine the way her mother did. She was known by many for making the most perfect holiday cinnamon rolls. She loved her friends and family, and all who knew her remember how much she loved to laugh and what a vibrant and avid story teller she was.
Carolyn was met in Heaven by her beloved mother, father, father-in-law Thomas J. Kaiser, and all of the animals she loved so dearly.
She is survived by her husband Perry Kaiser, daughters Kiera Kaiser and Karli Kaiser Mitchell, son-in-law Robert Mitchell, and her brother George Rodriguez.
Carolyn’s favorite place was the mountains, especially Vallecito Lake, Colorado, where she and Perry would vacation annually with their daughters.
