You have been in my thoughts and prayers, Betty and family. I'm sorry I was not able to be at at the services for Carlos. He was a remarkable, hard working, generous man. He was the true model of a member of the Colorado Academy family. Always looking out for what was best for the school and the people. I will miss his kindness and smile, and the wonderful conversations we would have about family. I know Carlos is a part of every member of your family and you will see him in the face of even the smallest child.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Carlos and so sad to not be there today as I have been on the east coast for the last two weeks. Carlos and I never passed one another at school without a greeting and a chat. His presence in our school gave great happiness to all of us and he will be tremendously missed. How fortunate for all of us that he was a part of our lives and I will keep him in my heart and prayers. Our thoughts go with you in this time of loss.

Our deepest sympathies to Betty and family. Carlos was a dear friend to all at Colorado Academy. We remember so well his ready smile and kind words and how willing he was to help in any way he could. He will be missed greatly, but has left us with many fond memories. There will always be a special place in our hearts for him. My deepest sympathies are with Betty and the family.  I will miss Carlos.  He helped me out many a time with Summer Programs problems.  Carlos was an individual I could always count on.  I remember the time I had misplaced a jacket in the middle school.  I mentioned it to Carlos, and he searched the whole building until he found it for me. Most of all I could always rely on Carlos for a friendly smile and wave whenever I saw him each day.

I'm sorry for your loss.   Rest in peace Carlos.
