Born April 29, 1964 in Frederick, Maryland, Teresa was the daughter of John Melvin and Carolyn Yvonne Masser (Norwood). She graduated from Middletown High School in 1982 and worked at a variety of jobs, including banking and traveling photography, before joining David Taylor Model Basin as a secretary in 1988. She met her future husband, Anthony Robert Nardo, Jr., via Usenet in 1990, and married on June 18, 1993. Teresa briefly ran her own crafts business, Ornament Egg-spressions, before taking on the role of homemaker in 1996. That same year the first signs of her muscular deterioration became evident. She was a member of the Association for Games and Puzzles International (AGPI), and was a play tester of record on two offerings by GMT Games. In recent years Teresa also developed an interest in genealogical research. She is survived by her husband and her parents. Teresa was predeceased last year by her sister, Renee Dawn Gearinger.
A funeral service for Teresa will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Rd., Baltimore, MD 21229.
