On September 1, 2021; JOHN AUGUST COOK; beloved husband of the late Sally B. Cook and Elizabeth M. Cook; loving father of John A Cook, Jr. (Veronica), Debra Cearfoss (Gary), and Mary A. Burdick (Douglas); devoted grandfather of Emilie Yankus (Jason), Hanna Pond, Hunter and Hope Miller, and the late Douglas Lopez; cherished great grandfather of Audrey and Genevieve Yankus, and Lily Landaverde.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 8 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Thursday, September 9 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5976 Old Washington Road, Elkridge, MD 21075. Interment at a later date in Crownsville Veteran Cemetery.
