On November 4, 2016, James Gerard Gill Sr., beloved husband of Nancy C. Gill (nee McPhaul) for 66 years. A surveyor at Port of Baltimore for more than 50 years known as the Pepperman. Loving father of James Gill Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Julie Gill Hartman and husband Steve, Thomas Gill and wife Joy, and John Gill. Grandfather of 13, and great-grandfather of 4. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and one grandson.
Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where services will be held at 5:45pm.
