Evelyn "Evie" Catharine Ciuchta, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Henry "Hank" Ciuchta, and daughter to her loving mother and father, Natalie Buchness and Dr. John Buchness. She is survived by her children, Lori Ronca, Alexis Lopez, Mike Ciuchta, Ann Hoffman and Jane Ciuchta and 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Five siblings: John Buchness, Robert Buchness, Natalie Branch, Alec Buchness and Neil Buchness. She was loved by many other family and friends.
Evie loved to travel, entertain family and friends, shop at Marshalls, dance and listen to bands at the Yacht Club and go to the pool and Broadway shows.
She spent the last 22 years living in Ocean PInes, MD where she thoroughly enjoyed living by the water.
A visitation for Evie will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 12:00 PM, at the funeral home. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21229.
