On August 17, 2017; CLAIRE W. YARBER (nee Whelan) passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Yarber; loving mother of Mary Ann Aellen and husband Anthony, Linda Lamb and husband David, Theresa Yarber, Alice Steffen and husband Robert, and Frances Yarber and husband Brian Espey; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Steffen, Kathryn Tabisz and husband Steven, Melissa Aellen, Nicholas Aellen, Sarah Lamb, Matthew Lamb, Aoife Espey, and Aisling Espey; devoted great grandmother of Skylar Tabisz; dear sister of Donald, Melvin, Edward, Anthony, and Charles Whelan, Mary Taylor, John Whelan, Rose Rogers, and the late Guy, Michael, and Martin Whelan. Claire is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20 from 1-5PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228; and on Monday, August 21 from 9:30-10AM at St. Joseph Nursing Home, 1222 Tugwell Drive, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10AM. Interment in Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 8501 Lasalle Road #106, Towson, MD 21286.
