Brian Christopher Smith, 54, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on November 20, 2023. He was born on October 19, 1969. He brought joy to his family through his sense of humor, joke telling, and love of dancing.
Brian is survived by his sisters, Shirley Devitt and Colleen Gehret and husband Brent. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of devoted caregivers and housemates of L.I.F.E. Inc. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Dorothy C. Smith, and his brother, Robert W. Smith.
Family will receive friends from 10AM- 12PM on Saturday, December 9 at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will follow at 12PM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian’s name may be made to L.I.F.E. Inc., a Not for Profit Agency dedicated to helping individuals with special needs live healthy and fulfilling lives in the community.
