Jared Edward Munson

Jared Edward Munson, age 36 of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2024, at his home. He was born on November 12, 1987, in Huron, South Dakota, the oldest child of Lisa (Munson) Williams. Jared later moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before moving to Colorado 10 years ago.

Jared was a dedicated employee of Nytech Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing and served most recently as their parts warehouse manager. Jared enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and he enjoyed living in Colorado where he spent time outdoors in the mountains whenever he could. He was musically inclined, learning to play both the guitar and piano by ear. He was also an avid gamer, but also loved to be a part of family game nights. Family and friends will remember Jared for his humility, intelligence, and thoughtfulness to others.

Jared is survived by his mother, Lisa, her husband Jeff, and twin sisters Samantha and Alexandra Williams; uncles Jerry Munson and wife Elaine and cousins Carolyn and Alexis; Mark Munson and partner Martina Hall; James Munson and wife Kristine; Todd Williams; Doug Williams and wife Gabriella and cousins Madison and Hayden; and Tyler Williams; grandparents Lawrence Munson, Jr., Dennis Williams and wife Gladys. Jared was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marcella Munson.

A celebration of life will be held: June 8th, 2024, 11:00 AM at Aldersgate Church, 502 S Lincoln Street, Aberdeen, South Dakota, 57401.

Final interment for Jared will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Rockford, North Dakota.
