James Dean Bertelsen, 92, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away September 1, 2023. He was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on February 20, 1931 to William and Lillian Bertelsen.
Dean graduated from Steele North Dakota High School and received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of North Dakota. He had a career in Automobile Finance and Insurance with General Motors Acceptance Corporation. He had a passion for the Local Coffee Shop and The Table of Knowledge.
He is survived by his nephews: Joe Welker, Bruce Bertelsen and Mark Bertelsen.
