Born February 19, 1944, in Westernport, Md., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Theresa Broadwater.
Pearl was known for her hospitality and generosity. She was a deeply spiritual person who enjoyed sharing her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She took delight in being outside, tending her flowers, bushes, and trees. She loved to travel, and the ocean was her special place.
She is survived by three children, Laura Robertson, Lisa Atkinson and Ray Shillingburg, Jr., her brother, Paul Broadwater and her grandchildren, Erica, Nathan, Andrew, Raelene, and Kirt, as well as five great grandchildren, Ethan, Landen, Arabella, Thatcher, and Erica Rose.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray F. Shillingburg, her sister, Rosalene S. “Rose” Courtney and four brothers, Kenny, Dean, Allen, and Eddie Broadwater.
A memorial will be held on May 10th, 2025, at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4020 N. Golden St, Eloy, AZ 85131 and via Zoom.
