William Whitt Buchanan

Bill was born to Charlie and Julia Ann Buchanan of Clarksville, VA. He graduated from Virginia Tech University in 1960 with a degree in Construction Engineering. He was one of 10 children.

After retirement, Bill enjoyed helping any way he could using his construction skills. He enjoyed growing tomatoes and strawberries in his garden, volunteering in the kitchen at church for Wednesday dinners and tinkering in the garage (his shop) making bird feeders from tree branches as well as many other things. Most of all he loved sitting on their front porch on a beautiful day.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Victoria Mosley and son in law, David (Ace), two grandchildren, Logan (20) and Christian (19) of Apex, NC, sister, Hillard Powers of Richmond, VA as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Bill will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
