It was always a pleasure to have Sam and Grace in my debate classes.  Wonderful children are a reflection of wonderful parents.  I had the privilege of speaking with Sue on just a few occasions, but she was always so wonderful and so dedicated to her children's education.  My family mourns the loss of such a wonderful lady.

I was honored to work with Sue for more than 25 years.  Our occasional meetings, mainly in the kitchen, were always filled with conversations about our children.  Her faith has become sight now and as a fellow believer, I know that I'll see her again someday.  She was a good and faithful servant and hers was a life well lived.  I will miss her.

We worked with Sue since 1999.  Sue was a colleague, leader, friend, and a caring and spiritual person. She was always willing to listen and welcomed any conversations regarding the kids without pause. Sue will be missed by all. We only hope that one day we can see each other again. One could only aim to be half as good a person as she has been her whole life.

My memory about Sue is that she was always kind, calm and graceful. She was devoted to God and her family.  My sons loved her teaching in Sunday School. Her three wonderful children show us what a wonderful mother she was. She was really a blessing to many people! I praise the Lord for her God-glorifying life.  May the God of hope comfort Mo-Yuen, Hannah, Samuel, Grace and Sue's mother, and fill them with all joy and peace as they trust in Him (Romans 15:13). 

Sue was a very kind and gentle person. I have known her ever since I moved to North Carolina more than 25 years ago. I feel so blessed to have such devoted sister in Christ for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter. I know it's only a temporary separation from her, we will meet again someday in heaven.  I really miss you, Sue!

I had the privilege of working with Sue for 16 years.  In her quiet way she made a profound impact on our community with her kindness, altruism, and integrity.  Her ever-present sweet smile brightened our days, and grew in radiance when she spoke about her beloved family. She will be deeply missed.  My heartfelt condolences to her family. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Sue was the heart and soul of our company, Smith Breeden.  She personified our simple goal of having a team of "smart, hardworking and nice" people doing good things.  She helped us build the wonderful culture of having a great work life, while having time for family and being there at soccer games, recitals and such.  Mo Yuen and Sue were always the most warm and supportive people you would ever find, and it's no surprise that they have such wonderful children.  Josie and I know that Sue's loss is a terrible loss to Mo Yuen and their children, as well as to all colleagues and friends from Smith Breeden and her friends everywhere, I'm sure.  

Sue was very kind, and very generous. I had the pleasure of working for her, and learned a great deal. Always a smile on her face and incredible person. Condolences to her family. Sue will be missed dearly.

Our family has known Sue for  more than 15 years and she’s always had a genuine smile on her face that warmed the hearts of everyone around her. She treated people with genuine love and kindness. She was very willing to serve in the children’s ministry as well as in the English congregation. We will miss her but we find peace and hope that we will reunite before the Lord in heaven. 

I met her just once but was bowled over by her charm and grace. She made all of us feel at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening spent at her home. My deepest condolences to her mother, Dr Chow , her children and the rest of the family. May God give them the strength to see this difficult time through.

I was honored to be a colleague of Sue’s at Smith Breeden Associates. She was a true professional in the workplace who was respected, admired, and loved by her co-workers.
Sue and I have children of similar ages and we enjoyed sharing updates on their progress.  A devoted and proud mother, Sue would “light-up” when talking about her family.  
Sue was a remarkable person who made life better for others.  She will be missed.


I had the privilege of serving together with Sue and her family last December when we went caroling together.  It is a memory I cherish and it will forever live in our hearts.  Our lives are richer for having Sue and her family as our brothers and sisters in RCCC.  Rest in peace, Sue!

From the very first time we visited RCCC in 2009, Sue greeted us with her warm smile.  She has a gift of making people feel so welcome and comfortable.   As I got to know her more, I realize what an amazing person Sue is.   I admire her strength and sweetness about her. A godly role model, she fits the Provers 31:28 description: her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also praises her.  I miss her already and wish I could learn more from her but am comforted at the thought that she is at the perfect place where I get to see her again someday.  

Sue , I had the opportunity to get to know you and your family in the past 20+ years at church.  You were a quiet, feminine, gentle and humble  lady. You always wore a smiling face and never complained. Your dedication to our church was noticed by many. You were truly a role model. You will be forever missed. Rest in peace. 

You were the image of a Godly woman, you set an example for others to learn from you.  I will miss you deeply, Sister Sue.  May you rest in peace.

Sue, you had finished the race ,  you had fought  the good fight,  you had kept faith.  There is a crown of faithful servant for you in heaven. 
We are so grateful for being served  in Mission Committee , Children ministry  with your in Raleigh Chinese Christian Church for many years.    Your dedication serving in Christ encouraged and inspired us.   We thank you, and miss you.

I had the honor of working with Sue for several years.  She was such a kind, conscientious, beautiful human being.  My heart is with her family as they endure this tragic loss.

Sue was a member of our Cary Academy moms’ prayer group.  She had an amazing depth of faith and an unending love for her family.  We are so very sorry for your loss and know that she is in a better place.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sue was one of the most genuinely kind people that I have ever worked with! I will forever remember the way she would laugh, the way she did Sudoku during lunch, but most of all, I will remember how proud she was of her kids and how important her faith was to her.



Sue was a former co-worker of mine, and her daughter interned for me one summer.  Sue was one of the best people to work with, and so nice and caring.  She will be truly missed.
