He is survived by his daughter, Renae Allred (Ronnie) and Gerald Pollard (Sheryl); grandchildren, Mitch and Brian Pollard and Paula and Natalee Allred; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Alease Stetson; and brother, Charles Pollard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Faye Pollard in 1999.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary. A graveside service will be held 11am Friday, January 10, 2014 at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh.
The family would like to thank the nurses of Gentiva who were instrumental in his recovery.
