Kenneth Donald Hetrick

Kenneth Donald Hetrick, 76, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012. Kenneth was born March 9, 1936 to the late Herbert and Clara Hetrick of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Entombment with follow at Wake Memorial Park in Morrisville.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret Hetrick of Cary; a son, Paul Kenneth Hetrick and his wife, Sandra of Mentor, OH; a daughter, Theresa Skinner and her husband, Shelton of Cary, NC; three granddaughters, Cheryl Hetrick of Mentor, OH, Angela Hetrick of Raleigh, NC, and Leslie Skinner of Charleston, SC; a great-grandson, Carson Sisk also of Charleston; and survived by one sister, Barbara Hetrick Shiner of Pittsburgh,PA . He was the son-in-law of Mary Scherba Seko and Michael Seko also of Pittsburgh. Kenneth is also survived many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kenneth and Mary were approaching their 58th wedding anniversary on July 3, 1954. Kenneth grew up in Braddock, PA. He served in the Air Force for four years and studied electronics. He worked as a technician, programmer, salesman for 35 years. He was a dedicated Steelers fan throughout his life. But first and foremost he was a devoted husband, a loving father and a caring grandfather for his family.
