Audrey worked as a bookkeeper all her working years. She moved to North Carolina in 1988 and 2 years later went back to work (1990), and worked for another 20 years. Audrey only missed work 3 days! She retired in May 2010.
She was a volunteer in the Emergency Room at Rex Hospital for 10 years. She was a den mother and a Sunday school teacher in New York.
Audrey was a bowler for many years and was on a 1st place team 4 times. She loved dancing, enjoyed all her grandchildren, keeping up with all her photo albums which she cherished, and looking at all the pictures on Facebook.
Flying, playing golf, moving, and having a laptop were 4 things she said she would never do, but she did, and was so happy she did. She learned to never say never.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
