Ernest Neal Moore Sr.

He was the son of the late Paul and Estelle Moore and is survived by his wife, Ann, of 41 years; his sons, Ernest Moore, Jr, (Kim), Broadmoor, NC, and Mike Moore (Lisa), Wilmington NC; stepsons, Larry Royster, Jr. (Katyuska), Smithfield, NC, and Kirk Royster (Nancy), Midland MI; brother Tommy Moore (Cathy), Raleigh, NC; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Ernest was an employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Meter Division, Raleigh, for 25 years. Upon retiring from Westinghouse, he owned and operated Moore’s Auto Service, Raleigh.

They attended The Shepherd’s Church for over 30 years where he served as an usher. Along with that, he enjoyed studying the Bible and fellowshipping with the believers there.

Ernest’s favorite past times included sports, fishing, gardening, and spending time with Ann. They took many trips to the beach and the mountains.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 14, 11:00 am, at The Shepherd’s Church, 6051 Tryon Road, Cary, NC.
