Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Harry Chayt and Claire (Goldberg) Chayt on October 14, 1935.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Resnick and is survived by her son, Kenneth Resnick of Raleigh, NC. Her daughters; Julie Meltzer of Apex and Samara Lupold of Cary, NC. One sister, Evelyn Itzkowitz of Monroe, NY. Her five very special grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
A graveside service for Edith will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery, 450 N State St, Raleigh, NC 27601.
