First I want to convey my sincere condolences to Ate Fe, Kimberly and to the whole family . I have met Kuya Garth when I visited North Carolina from Texas. I need 2 witnesses for my wedding to my fiancée who is now my husband Blaine . He did not hesitate to volunteer as one of my Ninong for the wedding. We as a family look up to him especially to ate Fe. We are always welcome in their house. In fact, they open their house for Blaine and me to have our wedding reception there. I will always missed him saying. Mare tinirhan Kita ng isda kasi Alam ko marami ka hindi puede kainin. He is always nice to my kids SL, JL and KL. We are heartbroken for his passing but at the same time, we know that someday we will meet him with open arms when Jesus comes . Thank you for all the memories Kuya Garth . You will always be in our hearts , you maybe gone but not forgotten. Everytime, JL played her piano you are always in her mind for you helped us a lot transport it . We love you , we will miss you and see you during resurrection hour . We love you too Ate Fe , Kimberly and the whole family 🥹

My heart goes out to all friends and family of Uncle Edgar's.  I've known him and Auntie Fe basically my whole life, and I'm about to be 32. The Acosta family had been a part of our family (Monton) since forever. Uncle has always done nothing but smile when you see him, or make a joke. Even as kids, either when they would visit us in VA Beach or we visit them, he would still be smiling when telling Chris and I where not to run off to😂
He was always so welcoming and and true. The love between him and auntie was so obviously genuine and meant to be. The relationship he had with my family was always so connected, and he treated us like his own kids. Just by reading from his colleagues, I can tell he was loved and valued in the industries he was in. You have brought light into many peoples lives, and your light will still lead the path for others, because that's just who you are. I love and miss you uncle ♥

Garth, this isn't an easy time. I have some great memories working with you. Brief as I am I'll miss your humor, and "Thank you, No Thank you" nod.

Family. Edgar was kind man. The type of man that you don't  meet often. We were blessed to have a child of God such as him in our lives. Many blessings to his family 

Edgar was a caring, high-spirited man, and a faithful follower of Christ. He was willing to go out of his way just to give a hand. I miss our friendship.

Death is not the end.  It is merely another step we must all take. For those of faith and spirituality that believe Edgar is in Heaven with God the day God called him home. Death on Earth is but his means to move to that eternal life. And for all of us death is merely a transition to an ongoing presence on earth for as long as we each continue to keep his memory within us.

Garth my dear friend, you will truly be missed. I’m sorry I never got a chance to reach out to you once I realized you were sick. However, I will NEVER forget the friendship that you had shown me and my family throughout the years. I pray for your family at this difficult moment. May God continue to bless them. May you rest in peace Mr. Acosta. You were always so nice to us in the MPOC Pharmacy for WakeMed. I will miss you coming to pick up your scripts and being such a sweet spirit! To the family, I am thinking of you, at this time of loss.

We have known Garth for many years and always thought the world of him. He always had a special spirit that came out in any interactions or communications with him. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Deep Symphaty To Sister Fe & Family,,, My Heartfelt "CONDOLENCE"

We’d like to remember Edgar when he used to pick up balikbayan boxes from our house.  He would normally stay longer than usual because he enjoys talking and joking with me and Eddie.  He would always  have jokes to tell.   He provided excellent service as a U Mac agent and we were always updated with the status of our shipment.  We mourn with his family but he is in good hands with our Lord.  We pray for the family and the loved ones that he left behind.  Rest peacefully Edgar and thank you for our friendship.  We will miss you.

So sorry that a very special man passed away! Every time I saw him he was always smiling. Praying for peace for the family. Also a Gospel song gives us peace - “In Christ there is no end; I Christ there is no goodbyes”
