Dorothy “Dot” Irene Porter Norwood, 94, died May 5, 2015. She was born in Rocky Mount on June 28, 1920. She is survived by her children, Henry Madenspacher and wife, Susan, of Clayton, Linda Pryor and husband, Arthur, of Cary, and Virginia Ledford and husband, Jim, of Wendell; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
