    Carley was the little sister I never had, apart from the fact that we lived 21 hours away and didn't get annoyed with eachother the way sisters tend to do. We'd both just miss eachother a whole lot. Between the game us cousins invented together, "Babysitter", the endless hours of Barbie dolls, and our inside phrase "dance like no one's watching" (something we'd do where Carley and I would just dance at random), we had fun and I, along with many, love her very much and will miss her. 
    Last summer before my brother and I had to return home to Texas, Carley, Aunt Kim, and I were in the car and Aunt Kim had said to us, "now remember, this isn't 'goodbye', it's 'see you later'". Though, that's hard to hold onto now, it's true and I love you guys.

Nothing I can say can possibly fill the void left by the loss of one of your children.  The Love we share by staying close to our family and friends can be a comfort in times such as these.  Just remember we are there to prvide that comfort through God's grace in any small way we can.

My life has been forever imprinted by the innocense and full abandon love and joy of a child such as my sweet niece Carley. I am reminded of the beauty in the suffering when I think of the huge loss we feel at her leaving us to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus but I think it is better that we suffer than Carley and all for the great anticipation of reuniting with her and all of our loved ones that share the promise of eternity! The pain in the suffering for me will be my constant reminder that this life is only temporary and I only have one chance to make a difference for eternity. I pray I am worthy of His call. Psalm 91:11 will be remembered for Carley.

Carley was like a sister I never got to have.  At sleepovers, we would share the big bed.  At parties, we would sit next to each other.  At dinners, we would order the same thing.  She was a sister to me, and I will never forget her.  I can't wait to meet her on the golden roads of heaven someday!

We are so thankful to the Lord for allowing Carley to impact our lives as she did. Her gentleness and love for Jesus and others are a great reflection of your Christian parenting. Although we will miss her greatly, we look forward to the day we are all together in Christ's presence. Ps 16:11 reminds us of what she is experiencing as In His presence is fullness of joy!

Dear family - I am sorry that you are having to endure this sorrow and pain.  While it seems pat or trite to say that I am praying for you, it is all I know to do for you.  I am praying that God comfort you, that you feel His presence and that you feel the freedom to take your grief and emotions to Him in their full expression.  I pray for healing of your wounds from this great loss.  And I pray for peace that passes all understanding.
