William Eugene Sligh

William was born December 16, 1954 in Cartersville, GA, son of Talmadge Sligh and Betty Louise Wade Sligh.

William enjoyed working with his hands and was a carpenter by trade. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of the Holiness faith.

He is preceded in death by his father; wife, Teresa Sligh; son, Travis Sligh; sister, Peggy Sligh; a brother-in-law, Lee Connell.

Survivors include his mother; son, Jeremy Sligh; daughter, Scarlett Sligh; granddaughters, Kristina Stoerner and Shantel Sligh; sisters, Elizabeth (Gene) Smith and Evelyn Connell; brother, Jerry Sligh.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 21st of January, 2022 at Mt. View Church of God with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation at the church for two hours prior to service time at the church.
