Tammy Denise Childers

Tammy Denise Childers, age 52 of Cartersville, passed away on Thursday, August 06, 2020. She was born on August 27, 1967 in Cave Springs, GA to the late Teddy Wayne Webb and Brenda Carol Webb. Tammy is preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Elizabeth Webb. She is survived by her husband, Dale Childers; sons, Brad (Mykael) Smith, Peyton Childers; daughters, Stephanie (Gerwyn) Herbert, Abigail Smith; brother, Jeff Webb; sisters, Tiffany ( Mitchell) Spires, Teresa (Van) Hayes; grandchildren, Aiden Copeland, Kira Herbert; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There was nothing more important to her than her family. She dedicated her life to caring for them and they will never be the same without her. Her love was unconditional, her strength was unwavering and her faith was unshakable. Between teaching for 29 years and her mission work, we may never know the number of lives she impacted.

A Celebration of life will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at LifePoint Church in Cartersville with Rev. Nathan Sanders officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with Chris Daniel, Devon Spires, Dewaine Spires, Steven Daniel, Andrew Webb, Jacob Hayes, Greg Webb and Scott Webb serving as pall bearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 1:30pm until 3:00pm at LifePoint church.
