Rayford Lingerfelt

Rayford was born on August 18, 1959 in Cartersville, GA, son of the late John Henry Lingerfelt and Ester Mulkey Lingerfelt.

Rayford was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a life-long painter and sheet rock finisher. In his later years, he refinished furniture with his friend Donnie Ruff and Richard Howard. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time in the flower gardens with his loving wife of forty plus years, Carol. The light of his world was spending quality time with his granddaughter, Summer.

Rayford is preceded in death by his sisters, Myrtle Howard and Jeanette Reynolds; brother, Danny Lingerfelt; nephews, Kenneth Satterfield and Phillip Satterfield.

Rayford is survived by his wife, Carol Lingerfelt; daughters, Leigh-Ann (Eric) LaDuke and Savannah (Beck MacArthur) Lingerfelt; son, Jeffery (Brittany) Lingerfelt; granddaughter, Summer Price; sisters, Inez Satterfield, Betty (Robert) Lingerfelt-Hightower; brother, Robert (Marie) Lingerfelt; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive; special friend since Rayford's childhood, Daryl Roberson.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
