Mr. Stover was born on August 11, 1950 in Dallas, GA, son of the late Leman Henry Stover and Mary Elizabeth Johnson.
Mr. Stover was a devoted father, cherished husband and an amazing Pawpaw. Mr. Stover proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an extremely hard working man. He was a life-long self-employed floor installer. He loved working and enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and watching wildlife. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Stover is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Yuvonne Stover; granddaughter, Jenna Denise Williamson; brother, Marion Stover; sister, Genevie Pritchard; sister, Tamer Smith
Survivors include his daughter, Christy A. (Brian) Arrington; son, Paul Eugene Stover, Jr.; grandchildren, Jared (Kayla Boatner) Pike, Kaylee Taylor Stover, Cameron Arrington, Trevor Arrington, Kaitlyn (Tritt Fennell) Arrington; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Marie Pike, Chandler Fennell, Mackayleigh Arrington and Zayne Arrington; brothers, James (Yvonne) Stover, Kenneth (Dot) Stover and Henry (Beverly) Stover; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, the 22nd Of February at twelve o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Mann officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery at two o’clock in the afternoon with military honors rendered.
Serving as pallbearers are Fred Pritchard, Jr., James Stover, Jr., Rickey Stover, LC Drinnon, Vince Groover and Lance Drinnon.
Jared Pike is serving as an honorary pallbearer.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for two hours prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, because of the policies for floral arrangements at the GA National Cemetery, memorial donations may be made to a non-profit veteran organization of your choice or to help with the funeral expenses.
