Margie Adcock Franklin

Mrs. Franklin was born on September 25, 1944 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late James Douglas Adcock and Beulah Mae Nicholson Adcock.

Mrs. Franklin was a loving and cherished wife, mother and grandmother. The joy of her life was raising her two sons and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-grandbaby. Mrs. Franklin was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and loved going to church.

She is preceded in death by her two sons, Jerry Darrin Franklin and Christopher Mark Franklin. Sisters, Evie Nell Adcock and Helen Sue Adcock Bruce; brother, Billy Joe Adcock.

Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Jerry Franklin; daughter-in-laws, Tammy Franklin and Cammie Franklin; grandchildren, Darrin Franklin, Travis Franklin, Tristen Franklin and Zachory Franklin; soon to be great-grandson, Asher T. Franklin; brother, James (Becky) Adcock; special nieces, Karen Roberson and Sherry Johnson Hatch.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday the 4th of December, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Bailey officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Providence Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Zachory, Tristen, Travis and Darrin Franklin, Chad Groce and Jeff Johnson.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the evening until eight on Tuesday, the 3rd of December, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home.
