Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents, William "Bill" and Ovaline Sanford, Justin "DA" and Melba Spires.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Rev. Chad W Cox; brothers, Jimmy Sanford Jr. "Boss", Cliff Sanford, Keith Sanford (Melissa); sisters, Amy Smith (Kelly), Tina Mathis; several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation on March 24, 2024 from four o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening at Owen Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on March 25, 2024 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Georgia. Officiating Lisa's service will be the Rev. Brent Edwards and Rev. Rob Miller. Pallbearers will include Stephen Mathis, Nathan Mathis, Joseph Smith, Jacob Smith, Dakota Sanford, and Levi Sanford.
