He was a cherished son, brother, and uncle, known for his kind heart and loving nature. He loved spending time and playing with his nieces and nephews. He fiercely loved and protected his family.
Joshua served honorably in the Us Marine Corps for four years, dedicating himself with commitment and bravery to his country. His military service will be honored with military honors at the Georgia National Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Allen Alvarado; mother, Michelle Valiza; sisters, Nycole Witmer, Ashelee Alvarado, and Mikayla Bedingfield; and brother, Allen Alvarado Jr.; his nieces Elle and Josephina and his nephews John David and Josiah. His grandparents, Robert and Carol Bury, also survive him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Al and Mary Alvarado and grandmother, Josephine Galvan.
Services to celebrate Joshua's life will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Dr, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Following the celebration of life service will be an interment with military honors at 1:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mt. Carmel Church Lane, Canton, Georgia, 30114.
