James was an animal lover. He worked for many years in the cattle industry, buying and selling cattle. James was also a talented sheetrocker. He enjoyed playing softball, baseball and Texas Hold 'Em. Most of all, James loved his family. James will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
James is preceded in death by his step father, John Bennett, twin brother, Dewey Tidwell, grand parents, Mr. Dewey Lee Tidwell and Mrs. Lilly Hite Tidwell. Several aunts and uncles also precede him in death.
James is survived by his sons; Tucker and Gunter Tidwell, mother, Donna Tidwell Bennett, sister, Christy(Jeremy) Dickhaus, and brother, Robert Bennett. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive to cherish James' memory.
A Celebration of James' life will be conducted in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at two o'clock in the afternoon. Interment will follow the service in Cassville Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Tucker Tidwell, Jamie McClain, Chad Davis, Mac Davis, Luke Davis, Mark Collier, Wayne Banks and Jimbo Curls.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Owen Funeral Home from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the service hour.
