Ida Lanelle Cox

She was born in Cartersville on March 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Leila Rosebud Cupp and was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Cox. Lanelle attended Christian Fellowship Church and was a loving and giving woman.

Surviving are her two sisters, Bertie Irene Cox and Christine Howell, five children, Emogene Ledford, Darlene Bagley and her husband, Rev. Buddy Bagley, Lynn Green, Brian Cox and Julie Cox, six grandchildren, Stormie Watkins (Stacey),Lorry Brock (Bruce), Tilisa Gossett, Kyle Dysart, Mara Green, Melinda Cantrell (Kevin), seven great- grandchildren, Deion Watkins, Morgan Watkins, Deionna Watkins, Chris Boston, Priscilla Wilson, Bethany Wilson and Riley Cantrell, two great-great-grandchldren, Zaniyah and Genesis Watkins and a very special friend, Mrs. Eileen Sleison.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Cagle and Rev. Buddy Bagley officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Stacey Watkins, Deion Watkins, Kyle Dysart, James Wilson, Kevin Cantrell and Chris Boston.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
