Gloria Wiley Pattillo

Mrs. Pattillo was born on January 16, 1938 in Emerson, GA, daughter of the late Herbert Clay Wiley and Gussie Carroll Wiley.

Mrs. Pattillo was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished her family and was dedicated to spending quality time with them. In her spare time she liked to read, take walks and listen to gospel singing. She was a member of Emerson Methodist Church and in her late years she attended Corinth Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pattillo is preceded in death by her first husband, Bud Taylor; second husband, Erbie “Jr.” Pattillo; sons-in-law, Dave Bearden and Ron Fambrough; sister and her husband, Alice and Doyle Myrick; brother-in-law, Eugene Meadows; sister-in-law, Lucinda Wiley.

Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte (Kenneth) Brown, Marie Bearden and Judy Fambrough; a host of grandchildren; brother, Douglas Wiley; sister, Sandra Meadows; many nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted a three o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 3rd of May, 2023 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Harper officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Emerson Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Courtney Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Kagen Taylor, Donald Floyd, Cameron Floyd and Keith Myrick.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for two hours prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.
