Ernest Eugene Jacobs

Ernest Eugene (Gene) Jacobs, age 83, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Gene was born March 18, 1938 to late Willis and Maudie Guyton Jacobs. He is preceded in death by his brothers, John Willie Jacobs, Walter Davis Jacobs, Frank Jacobs, Boone Jacobs , Joe Lewis Jacobs And Amos Jacobs.

Gene owned several Florist in Cartersville for over 50 years. He served as President over the Georgia Floral Board in the 1980s. He also served in the United States Air Force.

During his career he catered parties for two United States President and the Governor of Georgia.

Gene also had a tour company for 40 years taking people to Bingo Games in North Carolina, South

Carolina and Alabama.

Gene enjoyed Fine Cigars and Coca Cola, and spending times with his Grandsons.

Family would like to thank Dr. Kate Raymond and Dr. Maxwell Prempeh. Also the Nurses and

Doctors at Redmond Regional Hospital for taking great care for him. He will be missed by his family and friends all over the United States.

Survivors are his Son Cory (Jessa) Jacobs. Grandsons Christopher Lee Austin Jacobs and

Nathaniel Jacobs. Ex- wife Pauline Jacobs whom he loved Very Much. Brother and Sister in Law Wayne (Linda) Jacobs. Sister in Law Helen Jacobs. Kathy Hightower a Special Friend. Several Nieces and Nephews also Survive. He loved his fur baby Poncho.
