Emma Ruth Perry

Mrs. Perry was born November 11, 1930, in Bartow County, the daughter of Sam and Rosa (James) Wade.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sam Luther Perry.

Surviving is her son and daughter in law, Brent and Mary Beth Perry, her daughter and son in law, Deborah and Steve Southern, all of Cartersville, three grandchildren, Taylor Perry, Hannah Stewart and her husband Elliott, Ethan Perry, three sisters, Colleen and her husband Larry Satterfield, Linda Wood, all of Cartersville, Sue and her husband Ted Glass of White, brother, Howell Wade and his wife Vivian, of Euharlee and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. David Baker and Rev. Jonathan Padgett officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Perry, Ethan Perry, Darrell Black, Randall James, Kenneth Martin and Jeff Southern.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Martin and Jerry Henderson.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Zion Hill Ladies Circle.
