Mrs. Coffey was born October 26, 1922, in Bartow County, the daughter of the late, Clarence, Sr. and Myrtle (Burdett) Donahoo and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a member of the Allatoona Quilting Guild and she and her husband, Watson were members of the “Cartersville Belles and Bows” square dance group.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Watson C. Coffey, Jr.
Surviving are her sons, Watson (Chip) Coffey, III (Cathy Gaddis) of McDonough, Ga., Ronald D. (Don) Coffey (Kathy) of Macon, Georgia, Patrick G. (Pat) Coffey (Marie) of Rome, Georgia, grandchildren, Michael Coffey, Timothy Coffey, Chris Boring, April Fordham, Brian Coffey and Terri Blair, great grandchildren, Joshua Coffey, Nolan Coffey, Dakota Coffey, Caleb Fordham and Caroline Fordham.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. with Dr. Don Hattaway officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Timothy, Brian, Jonathan and Joshua.
Honorary pallbearers are W.C. Lowry, Harry Childers and Kenneth Coffey.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
